- Take Chicken -750 gm (boneless)
- Prepare 1/2 cup yogurt

- Make ready 1/2 tb spn red chilli powder
- Get to taste Salt according
- Get 2 tb spn ginger garlic paste (mixed)
This non-vegetarian recipe is prepared with juicy chicken. Hariyali chicken kebabs may not be the most famous tandoori chicken tikka but they taste so good and should be tried. Hariyali chicken tikka kebabs have to be right up there in my top five favourites. As far as I can tell, the word hariyali has to do with the color green and tikka refers to chunks of meat marinated in a spice mixture.
Instructions to make Hariyali chicken:
- First we will prepare green purie. For that we will add chopped cilantro and mint leaves+lemon juice+green chilli
- In a pan we will take some desi ghee. When it will be hot we will add all whole garam masala. Then we will add chopped onion. We will fry it till it the onion becomes pink in color.(medium flame)
- We will add chicken pcs into it and will fry it till the water goes off (medium flame).
- Once chicken fries well we will add ginger garlic paste and cook it for 3-4 mins.
- We will add all spices (garam masala powder, cumin seed powder, red chilli powder, coriender powder) (slow flame). Stir it well and mix all the ingredients properly.
- Now add the gree purie. Mix it well and cook it for 2 mins. now Add yogurt and mix it very well and add salt as per the taste. Cover the pan and cook it or 5 mins. (Medium flame).
- Now add crushed fenugreek leaves and mix it. Chicken hariyali is ready now.
Both descriptors certainly fit this dish. Fresh minty chicken makes a delicious starter and an even better barbecue dish. This is also known as green chicken tikka which for me doesn't give this dish the credit it deserves. A delicious chicken curry made with coriander & mint leaves and a dash of dried fenugreek leaves makes for a wonderful accompaniment. Hariyali Chicken Kabab is yet another popular dish in and around India.
