- Prepare 200 g Greek yogurt (low fat is optional)
- Prepare 200 g Plain flour

Make naan, pizza crusts, wraps, sandwiches, burgers, or for dunking in soups and sauces. Soft, cooked to perfection, this flatbread is way better than the store-bought one. These flat breads can be enjoyed on their own, or dipped in your favourite Indian food, or as an appetizer with hummus and other dips. Brush the top with more butter as it cooks on the first side, then flip and continue cooking until the same deep golden brown on the second.
Instructions to make Yoghurt Flatbread:
- Put in the flour, yoghurt, bicarbonate of soda, salt, pepper and herbs in a bowl. Mix with a wooden spoon till roughly blended, then combine with hands till the it has turned into a shaggy dough ball. Then knead for 2-5 mins or until it turns into a nice dough.
- Shape the dough into an inch, thick disk and split into 8. Roll each bit into a ball.
- Heat pan. Roll out one of the small dough balls into 1/2 cm thick disk.
- Pop the disk into the pan and flip when bubbles start popping up and a little bit of steam comes up from underneath. When flipped wait for 30 secs and transfer onto a plate. - Repeat this step till all 7 are done.
Transfer to baking sheet and place in oven to keep warm. Continue this process with the remaining coils and flatbreads.
