- Take 4 tbsp Horsegram
- Prepare 2 tbsp Coconut grated
- Take 6 Garlic pods

- Get 1 pinch Hing
- Take 1/2 tbsp Oil
- Get Salt as required

- Make ready 1/2 tbsp Oil
- Prepare 1/4 tsp Mustard
- Prepare 1 bunch Curry leaves
Instructions to make Horsegram Chutney:
- Heat the kadai and dry roast the horsegram.
- Then transfer the roasted horsegram to a separate pan
- Now add oil to kadai and then add the coconut, Curry leaves, garlic, dried chilli, tamarind, hing and roast the ingredients.
- Cool the roasted items, grind it well along with salt and little water to a smooth paste.
- For seasoning, Heat oil and add mustard seeds.
- Once it splutters, add curry leaves and switch off the flame and then add to the chutney.
- Serve with rice and rasam
