- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Add Onion and garlic cloves and cook until saute.
- Then add salt, chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, cumin and black pepper powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder.
- Cook it until oil comes up and tomatoes becomes paste and cook well. (Add water if required to cook spices)
- Then add the cubes potato, methi leaves and green chilli. Add 1 glass water & Stir well.
- Cover it to cook for 5 mins at high flame then turn it to low flame (keep stirring in between) until the leaves are cooked, the moisture dries out and the potatoes are done
- Methi Aloo is ready Serve with roti, rice or Naan.
