- For raw masala… blend all ingredients under raw masala to the smooth paste by adding required amount of water, keep aside.
- Chop the basale soppu / malabar spinach roughly
- Chop stem 2" long and cook it by adding water and soaked green gram, without salt.
- After well cook add spinach and salt.
- After transulant add the ground masala.
- Bring it to boil vigorously 10 minutes.
- If you need add seasoning of mustard seeds, red chilli and garlic.(it is optional)
- Serve it with rice or rice kadubu.
