Instructions to make Brahmi pappu:
- Wash moong daal, add 3 cups of water, washed and chopped green leaves.
- Add green chillies, tomatoes, tamarind and turmeric, pressure cook for 4-5 whistles.
- Add salt and mash the cooked daal.
- Heat oil in wok add mustard and cumin seeds. Add red chilli and onions. After onions are done add mashed daal cook for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice
